Gympie Muster Community Group Application

The Gympie Music Muster is the largest Community run event in Australia and we are proud to support the Gympie community. 45+ Community groups and Organisations assisted in running the 2024 Muster. Without support from these groups of volunteers we would not be able to host such an enormous event that benefits Gympie in so many ways.  Our community groups manage services at the Muster by taking ownership of their role, providing volunteers from their organisation and community to fulfill rosters and provide services. Whether it is picking up rubbish on the hill, operating a bar or driving a bus we have many roles and opportunities for groups. 

    If you are a community group or not-for-profit organisation and would like to apply to be a part of the 2025 Gympie Music Muster please submit your application through this form. Applications open on 9th December 2024 and close 1st April 2025. 

    We look forward to connecting with your Community Group or non for profit organisation and seeing how we can financially support your group while working together.  

    IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE APPLYING FOR THE MUSTER:

    • As the Muster is a festival in the forest our operation and logistics requires allot of manual labor and hours from our community groups and volunteers. We are also exposed to weather elements and can be subject to all seasons. 
    • Each role no matter where you are assigned to will/could involve:
      • Allot of walking (as we are a large outdoor site)
      • Manual Lifting
      • Physical activity
      • Outside work
    • Please note there are NO administrative roles for volunteers
